Scottish business The Power Within Training and Development is in the running for a series of high-profile awards before Christmas 2021 as it continues to go from strength to strength.
The Glasgow- based company – founded by couple James and Enas Fleming – has experienced significant growth in the past 18 months, despite the pandemic, and as a result, has been named as a finalist at 3 award separate ceremonies across Scotland and the UK before the end of the year.
The business is shortlisted for both the Fastest Growing Family Business Award and the Business Innovation Award at the 2021 The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards to be held in December.
The company is also in the running for the Micro Business of the Year title at the UK-wide Growing Business Awards in November.
In addition, James and Enas are also finalists in the Family Business Entrepreneur Award at the prestigious GB Entrepreneur Awards which also takes place later this month.
The Power Within Training & Development was founded by married couple James and Enas in 2017 after they returned home from years of working abroad in corporate oil and gas careers.
The company helps people and businesses excel by improving their motivation, self-belief, decision making and leadership skills through a ground-breaking approach called Motivational Intelligence.
The business is the only recognised consultant outside of North America with the ability to deliver registered training in Motivational Intelligence and this year James, Enas and their team introduced the world’s first SQA approved Executive Diploma in Leading with Motivational Intelligence.
In September, the business launched a new Aberdeen-based venture – The Power Within Training UK Ltd – providing business leaders, and emerging leaders, with extensive training in Motivational Intelligence to specifically help them navigate the global energy transition – a shift over the coming decades from an energy mix based on fossil fuels to one that produces zero carbon emissions, based on renewable energy sources.
