The success with which James and Enas have applied Motivational Intelligence in their own lives led the founders of the MQ Training movement to reach out to The Power Within.
2logical, the company behind the MQ movement, invited them to become the first accredited trainers outside of North America to share the power of Motivational Intelligence.

Benjamin, our Research and Technology Developer, graduated from his Psychology and Business Management degree at the top of his university. He accredits his academic success to the science and principles of Motivational Intelligence which he picked up from and practised throughout his education.

We sometimes find it tricky to write about our social responsibility work, because we believe this work is something every company should do!
That being said, we’re also so proud to support the organisations we do, and that’s definitely something to shout about.

MCR Pathways is a Scottish charity with a powerful vision: that every care-experienced and disadvantaged young person in Scotland gets the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person.
In their most recent Impact Report, MCR highlighted that 86% of mentored leavers progressed to positive destinations (full-time employment, further education, or higher education) vs. 51% of care-experienced non-mentored leavers.
By spending just one hour a week listening and being there for a young person, we support and empower them to unlock their potential. We love being a part of this work that truly transforms lives.
Working with local schools, The Power Within has created a bespoke session for pupils to help them demystify bullying, get to the heart of their motivational triggers, and creates real empathy amongst students.
By highlighting that bullies are victims just as much as those they bully, we help young people understand that they can think bigger, be better, and do more.
Understanding the power of example, we also present to parents; helping them to grasp their vital role in setting a good standard.
These presentations are reinforced by frameworks that pupils can take home and work on with their parents to pledge to treat everyone with respect, working as whole family to eradicate bullying.
One of Scotland’s greatest treasures is our young, talented people. As entrepreneurs, we’re so proud to serve in the roles of chairperson and business advisor, developing, inspiring, and motivating the leaders of tomorrow.
Working as expert business advisors, we help young people to think about what it takes to be entrepreneurial and enterprising in learning, life, and work. We set an example of what can be achieved with the right mindset, and offer advice and encouragement wherever we can.
Scotland’s unique Children’s Hearings System relies on the involvement of around 2,500 people from all walks of life, who give their time and commitment voluntarily to train and serve as Children’s Panel members.
The Power Within supports both as a Children’s Hearing Panel Member and an L&D Coordinator. Though cases are complex and emotionally challenging, and the time commitment is considerable, this work is hugely rewarding.
We offer a minimum of five pro bono clients each year, who would otherwise not have access to professional coaching and counselling support.
