What feels different to you now compared to before the programme?

Before starting the programme, I lacked confidence and struggled to recognise my worth within the business. After having my children, I found it difficult to regain a sense of purpose, I felt lost in knowing what I wanted for myself, the business, my team, and my career.

The Power Within Training helped me rediscover all four. Understanding how my thinking patterns work, and how Motivational Intelligence is shaped by them, has been incredibly empowering. It has given me back control of my thoughts, helped me challenge limiting beliefs, and created awareness around unhelpful behaviours. I now approach my days and weeks with more structure, organisation, and intention, which allows me to deliver clearer, more tangible results.

Has the programme changed how you think or act in any situation?

Several opportunities came my way during the programme that I would have turned down in the past.

The first was being asked to speak on stage at a trade show about a pilot construction course I attended. Before, I would have said no immediately. But through the programme, I realised it was fear and limiting beliefs driving that decision. I chose instead to say yes, understanding that only by stepping into those moments can we truly grow.

The second was putting myself forward to become the next Regional President of the trade association board I belong to. I had avoided this for years, but the programme gave me the confidence to step up, and I won the role. This achievement has already opened doors I never thought possible and has been a huge boost to my confidence.

How have you noticed people responding differently since completing the programme?

My team and colleagues have noticed that I’m more present and engaged within the company. I’ve made a conscious effort to step out of the comfort of my office, spend more time on-site, and attend networking events, things I rarely did before. I’ve learned that change doesn’t just show up at your door; you have to be willing to put yourself into uncomfortable situations to uncover your potential and grow.

The programme has also influenced how we think about investing in our people. It has shifted our approach to recruitment and team management, creating a stronger focus on growth and development across the whole business.

What’s the biggest change the programme’s made for you, personally and professionally?

Professionally, I now have a clearer direction for driving the company forward, with a renewed focus on achieving the growth we once only dreamed of. I’ve come to understand that aligning purpose, vision, and mindset is key to making real progress.

Personally, the impact has been life-changing. Gaining a deeper awareness of how much mindset influences your actions and ultimately, your life was exactly what I needed. Recognising the true power of Motivational Intelligence has given me both confidence and clarity, and it continues to shape not only who I am, but who I strive to become.
